Samir Soneji, Ph.D.
Demography, Statistical Methods, Aging and the Life Course
Samir S. Soneji is an Assistant Professor at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, Dartmouth Medical School, Dartmouth College. His research interests include variation in cancer care and outcomes, cancer screening, demographic modeling and simulation, and forecasting. Dr. Soneji received his PhD in Demography from Princeton University in 2008. He also holds a MA in Statistics from Columbia University, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He was formerly a Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked on projects on social inequality in preventive health care, mortality forecasting, Social Security projections, and avoidable death mortality.
